The Shipping and Receiving Specialist ensures accurate receipt, processing, and shipment of customer tools, parts, and materials within the Factory Service Center. This role involves inventory management, customer interaction at the service desk, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

Receive and process customer tools, returns, parts shipments, and other incoming materials, recording transactions in business systems.
Package, label, and ship repaired tools, customer returns, and other materials accurately and efficiently.
Evaluate customer returns for warranty, credit, repair, or disposition decisions.
Move materials throughout the facility using material handling equipment while maintaining a safe work environment.
Support customers at the service desk by answering basic questions and providing information.
Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory accuracy and provide coverage.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Krav

One (1) year of manufacturing, warehouse, or related operational experience.
One (1) year of troubleshooting experience.
Ability to interact professionally with customers in person and through written communications.
Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of common computer applications and business systems.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Three (3) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or distribution operations.
One (1) to three (3) years of customer-facing experience.
Current forklift certification or license.
Experience working with inventory management, shipping, receiving, or enterprise business systems such as JD Edwards and 360 Insight.
