Perform skilled maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems for industrial manufacturing facilities in Hagerstown, MD. This role requires 3-5 years of experience, a Maryland State Stationary Engineer License Grade 3, and involves troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of various building systems.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform skilled maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation, alteration and preventative maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration and low-pressure boiler systems.
  • Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance.
  • Utilize trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling.
  • Monitor and maintain building HVAC, A/C systems, low pressure boilers, hot water generators, food service equipment, air compressors, and water treatment systems.
  • Complete watch tours by visual inspection of all building systems and equipment requiring walking, climbing stairs, entering small spaces and noisy spaces.
  • Calibrate and repair automated building systems by physically aligning settings within design parameters.
  • Maintain automated buildings systems through software application.
  • Respond to and effect repairs for office comfort and common area calls.
  • Respond to emergency calls.
  • Read and analyze blueprints and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate building automation control; diagnose plumbing and mechanical problems.
  • Monitor utilities, condition of equipment, property and building operations.
  • Clean and lubricate motors, drives, and associated moving machinery parts.
  • Write inspection reports, work orders, and time sheets.

Krav

  • 3-5 years of experience performing duties which include the operation, maintenance and repair of boiler, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and power equipment of large commercial, industrial or institutional buildings.
  • Experience with the operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems involving the use of automatic controls.
  • Maryland State Stationary Engineer License Grade 3 (Higher is desirable).
  • EPA Refrigerant License a plus.
  • Ability to work in a Union environment.

  • Be able to change to needs beyond a regular daily schedule.
  • Available for working hours outside of regularly scheduled work week.
  • Knowledge of industry health and safety regulations.

Förmåner

  • The current starting pay rate for this role is $39.81/hour.
  • Pay progression and future increases will be governed by the collective bargaining agreement.
