ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Service Technician in Nashville, TN to perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades on automated pedestrian doors. Ansvarsområden

  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
  • Participate in training programs.
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, positioning, and installing door components weighing up to 110 pounds, climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in various positions.

Krav

  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 due to job-related responsibilities.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification as required.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

  • Access control systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred.
