Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment. This role involves customer interaction, documentation, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule, with a focus on providing efficient and high-quality service.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Clean customer equipment pads, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
  • Communicate with customers and the Service Manager regarding services performed and present repair options.
  • Complete service-related documentation such as service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, and oil sample forms.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including travel to customer locations.
  • Undergo random drug testing.

Krav

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments with extremes in temperature, and perform continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • Proficiency in using computers to complete work orders.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to meeting customer needs.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute (30 minutes to one hour) of the assigned territory.
  • Ability to park a company-issued service vehicle at residence without restrictions.
