Sandvik Mining is seeking a skilled Service Technician in Mackay, Queensland to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on their advanced mobile mining and construction equipment. This full-time, on-site role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability and customer operational success, offering comprehensive training and benefits.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on Sandvik Mining equipment, focusing on LS312.
  • Execute mechanical maintenance tasks according to plans, ensuring equipment integrity and safe operation.
  • Provide feedback for maintenance planning improvements.
  • Maintain meticulous records of parts usage, equipment monitoring, and time logs.
  • Champion safety by adhering to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.

Krav

  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certification.
  • Demonstrated experience with trucks, loaders, and drilling mobile mining equipment.
  • Strong and proven safety culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Proactive, self-motivated attitude and ability to take initiative.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Class C Manual Driver’s License.
  • Right to live and work in Australia.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical.
