I korthet

As a Service Technician Apprentice, you will perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment. You will communicate with customers, complete documentation, attend paid training, and participate in an on-call pool. This is a remote role based in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel for training.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
  • Communicate with customers and the Service Manager regarding services performed and repair options.
  • Complete all service-related documentation, including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, and parts return documents.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including travel to customer locations, out-of-town, and overnight travel.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Krav

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • Ability to use computers to complete work orders.
  • Customer-focused and able to take ownership of meeting customer needs.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis, IN, if not already residing there.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional travel to Rock Hill, SC for training.
