As a Service Technician, you will perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related equipment. This role requires 1-2 years of technical experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. The position is remote with travel within a 1-2 hour radius of Phoenix, Arizona, and offers attractive benefits including a flexible benefits plan and a generous 401(k) match.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure blowers.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
  • Learn advanced topics like VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads.
  • Communicate with customers and Service Manager about services performed and repair options.
  • Complete all service-related documentation accurately.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including out-of-town and overnight travel.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Krav

  • 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
  • Experience with the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Proficiency using computers for work orders, ordering parts, and training.
  • Ability to supply all basic required tools.
  • Occasional travel to Rock Hill, SC for paid training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and fluency in English.
  • Must reside within reasonable commute (30 minutes to one hour) of the assigned territory.
  • Must be able to park a company-issued service vehicle at residence without restrictions.

  • Salary range: $30hr - $37hr, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Position is overtime eligible; overtime begins after 8 work hours in a day.
