Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a remote Service Technician to perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires 1-2 years of technical experience, strong mechanical/electrical understanding, and the ability to travel within a designated service area.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers.
  • Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
  • Gain knowledge in VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads.
  • Communicate with customers and Service Manager regarding services, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Complete service-related documentation accurately.
  • Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of PPE.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
  • Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool, including travel to customer locations, potentially out-of-town and overnight.
  • Be subject to random drug testing.

Krav

  • 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with ownership of meeting customer needs.
  • Proficiency in using computers for work orders and training.
  • Ability to supply all basic required tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and work in industrial environments with continuous walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
  • Basic understanding of mechanics and electrical theory.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute (30 minutes to one hour) of the assigned territory.
  • Ability to park a company-issued service vehicle at your residence without restrictions.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics is preferred.
  • Experience in HVAC is a plus.
  • Certifications are a plus (EPA Certified).

  • Salary range: $33hr - $41hr, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Geographically adjusted salary based on cost-of-living factors.
  • Overtime eligible, with overtime pay beginning after 8 work hours in a day.
