Securitas Technology is seeking a Service Engineer in Dublin to maintain, fault-find, and support security systems like intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance on customer sites. This on-site, full-time role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, including participation in an on-call rota.

Ansvarsområden

Maintain intruder alarm, access control, and video surveillance systems to required standards.
Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work.
Provide first-line technical support for fault finding, diagnosis, and servicing of security systems.
Respond to service calls and planned maintenance visits using the PDA handheld system.
Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk team.
Maintain responsibility for van stock, tools, safety equipment, and assigned assets.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and company procedures.
Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours support.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.

Krav

Sound knowledge of the security systems, fire systems, and communications industry.
Experience working with intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems.
Knowledge of systems such as Pacom, Hikvision, HKC, and Galaxy.
Understanding of IP-based security systems and networking principles.
Strong technical troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.
Competent in the use of PDA/mobile field service systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Good administration and organisational skills.
Professional attitude and presentation.
Team player with a collaborative approach.
Flexible and adaptable.
Eagerness to learn and stay current with industry trends.
Full clean driving licence.
Willingness and ability to undergo security vetting.
