Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Engineer in Cairo, Egypt, to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air compressors and related equipment. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering, with 0-2 years of experience preferred, and involves direct customer interaction and on-call duties.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning equipment, determining causes and performing necessary repairs.
  • Test and document equipment operating parameters before and after maintenance/repairs.
  • Document all work performed daily using company hardware and software.
  • Develop rapport with customers through effective communication and professionalism.
  • Provide basic tools and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Learn and share knowledge about VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
  • Provide high-level customer service, responding to needs and satisfying expectations.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and work overtime on short notice.
  • Serve as a company ambassador, promoting the Atlas Copco "Way".
  • Manage time effectively and work independently to solve problems.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and use of PPE.
  • Work as a team, sharing knowledge and participating in training.
  • Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards and customer expectations.
  • Take action to get the job done and maintain necessary communications.
  • Ensure self-dependency as a one-man job.
  • Travel within Egypt to industrial and remote areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Krav

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience servicing air compressors is preferable.
  • Excellent knowledge of aftermarket products and business processes.
  • Familiarity with electric and electronic circuits.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical controls.
  • Medium to high level of English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A dedicated hard worker who can perform well under pressure.
  • A customer-oriented mindset.
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with gas refrigerant systems is an advantage.
  • Candidates with technical knowledge related to compressed air equipment and experience in after-sales services or direct customer interaction will be highly regarded.
  • Empathy towards clients and colleagues, as well as the ability to coordinate and organize work teams, are essential qualities.
