ABB is seeking a Service Engineer in Cairo, Egypt, to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support for ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS). This full-time, onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and a minimum of 3 years of experience with ABB DCS platforms.

Ansvarsområden

  • Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and lifecycle support of ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including Symphony Plus, 800xA, Advant, and AC800M platforms.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure maximum system availability, optimize plant performance, and deliver high-quality technical support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis through remote or on-site activity.
  • Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid future issues.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with ABB DCS platforms, including Symphony Plus, 800xA, Advant, and AC800M systems.
  • Strong knowledge of control systems architecture, industrial communication networks, PLCs/controllers, HMI systems, and process automation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work at industrial sites when required.
