Tetra Pak is seeking a Service Engineer in Cape Town to provide high-quality service, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations of food processing and packaging equipment. This role involves training customers, supporting contract performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, with up to 75% travel.

Ansvarsområden

Travel to customer sites to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations.
Analyze technical issues and escalate when needed using standard operating processes.
Train customer operators and support production efficiency.
Monitor service contracts and contribute to business development.
Ensure compliance with safety, food quality, and reporting standards.
Represent Tetra Pak professionally and contribute ideas for improving customer operations and service delivery.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols in accordance to OHS and Tetra Pak safety regulations and promote a safe working culture in the team.

Krav

Up to 3 years’ experience in maintenance, service, or installation within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
N6/National Diploma or Trade Test in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Millwright, or equivalent technical qualification.
Foundational mechanical, electrical, and basic automation knowledge, with exposure to industrial equipment installation and troubleshooting (PLC/drive systems advantageous).
Commitment to health and safety standards.
A valid driver’s license.
Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer focused mindset.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Intermediate level of English (written and verbal).
A proactive, customer-first mindset.
