Atlas Copco is seeking a Service Coordinator in Houston, TX to schedule field service installations for compressed air equipment. This hybrid role involves managing service orders, coordinating with technicians and customers, and ensuring efficient operations to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Schedule field service installation of compressed air equipment.
  • Provide regular updates to the Service Manager and customers.
  • Secure purchase orders for service work and verify terms and conditions.
  • Open, maintain, and invoice scheduled service orders in SAP and other systems.
  • Track and file relevant paperwork for service jobs.
  • Order, track, and expedite parts, including creating Vendor Purchase Orders.
  • Enter expedite tickets for critical orders.
  • Assist with maintaining service plan orders by updating scheduling based on parts movement.
  • Maintain and verify accuracy of customer account contact information.
  • Update customers on order progress and long lead times.
  • Receive incoming calls for service breakdowns, scheduling, and tech support.
  • Work with the Service Manager to coordinate activities and maximize technician utilization.
  • Confirm service schedules with customers.
  • Serve as the information liaison between management, technicians, and customers.
  • Manage and control work in progress.
  • Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a professional image.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards and customer expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Krav

  • Minimum of two years of relevant service coordination and/or dispatch experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with contract planning.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Some college preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Basic Mechanical Knowledge preferred.
