I korthet

Alfa Laval is seeking a full-time Service Center Operator Intern in Yanbu. This role involves hands-on execution of heat exchanger reconditioning, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing, reporting directly to the Service Centre manager.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform hands-on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning: disassembly, plate cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gasket gluing, assembly, and pressure testing.
  • Ensure full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn as required by the work.
  • Report technical findings from inspections and establish reports.
  • Report any issues to the Team Leader before proceeding.
  • Use proper tools, equipment, and procedures to perform the work.
  • Follow guidelines mentioned in reconditioning/repair procedures.
  • Maintain a safety-first culture during work execution.
  • Be responsible for day-to-day housekeeping.
  • Ensure efficient maintenance and care of all company tools, spares, and consumables.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of workshop tools and personnel.
  • Attend organized training courses as instructed for personal development.
  • Be willing to go the extra mile to fulfill customer requirements for on-time job execution and work extended hours.

Krav

  • Diploma/Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Agile and positive mindset when facing challenges.
  • Good level of safety awareness.
  • Self-starter and result-oriented.
  • Good understanding of operational issues.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
  • Flair for maintaining relationships and working across different cultures.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Computer literate; skilled in MS Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Welding basic competence is a plus.
  • Preferred to be a Saudi National.
