Saab Australia is looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to join their Platform Automation Systems team in Adelaide, Australia. This role focuses on leading verification activities for complex software and automation systems within Australia's Sovereign Submarine Capability program, specifically for the Collins Class Submarine ISCMMS. The position requires extensive experience in V&V, systems engineering, and a strong understanding of defence environments.
Ansvarsområden
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of verification activities for complex software and platform automation systems.
- Develop and maintain Verification Strategies, Verification Plans, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), Verification Reports, and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs).
- Own and manage the project's Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM), test evidence, and Objective Quality Evidence (OQE).
- Develop detailed verification schedules and support the management of resources, equipment, and test environments.
- Lead formal test activities as Lead Tester or Test Director.
- Conduct technical risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution associated with verification activities.
- Support formal engineering reviews and audits, including Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).
- Assess, justify, and obtain acceptance of requirements compliance or deviations arising from the verification program.
- Work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders to facilitate successful system acceptance outcomes.
Krav
- 8+ years' experience in software systems testing, verification, and validation.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing structured Verification & Validation programs.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements verification methodologies.
- Experience developing test procedures, verification plans, traceability matrices, and formal test reports.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work closely with customers to achieve program and acceptance objectives.
- Current Australian Defence Security Clearance NV1 (minimum).
- Ability to regularly work at the customer site in Osborne, South Australia.
- Eligibility to work within Defence and export-controlled environments.
