HCLTech is seeking a Senior Test Lead in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This full-time, on-site role requires expertise in managing HIL/SIL rigs, lab planning, asset and configuration management, and ensuring process compliance with standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE. The position also involves leading QA engineers and implementing process improvements.

Ansvarsområden

  • Oversee daily start-up and shutdown of HIL/SIL rigs, monitor health status, and ensure rig readiness.
  • Manage rig booking calendar, allocate rigs to projects, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain inventory of ECUs, sensors, harnesses, simulators, and test equipment.
  • Install approved software versions, maintain rig baselines, and manage firmware updates.
  • Respond to rig failures, perform first-level troubleshooting, and coordinate root cause analysis.
  • Execute preventive maintenance plans and arrange calibration activities.
  • Interface with suppliers like dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, and Speedgoat for support and repairs.
  • Review deployment requests, implement approved changes, and maintain change records.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 26262, ASPICE, and Cybersecurity requirements.
  • Monitor rig utilization, generate capacity reports, and analyze downtime trends.
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures, recovery procedures, and user manuals.
  • Participate in functional and technical discussions to understand specifications and highlight performance concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies and implement best practices.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts.
  • Develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework.

Krav

  • Experience in Rig Operations Management (start-up, shutdown, monitoring, uptime).
  • Proficiency in Lab Planning & Scheduling (booking, allocation, conflict resolution, capacity planning).
  • Experience in Asset Management (inventory tracking, spare parts, procurement support).
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management (software versions, baselines, firmware updates, hardware/software configurations).
  • Skills in Incident Management (troubleshooting, root cause analysis, escalation, service restoration).
  • Experience with Maintenance Management (preventive maintenance, calibration, inspections, certification records).
  • Vendor Coordination skills, including interaction with dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, Speedgoat.
  • Familiarity with Change Control processes (deployment requests, rollback activities).
  • Ensured adherence to ISO 26262, ASPICE, and Cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience in Utilisation Analytics (monitoring utilization, reporting, trend analysis).
  • Ability to develop and maintain Documentation & SOPs.
  • Participation in functional and technical discussions with clients/teams.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements in testing methodologies.
  • Experience in creating and executing automated test scripts.
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring QA engineers.
