Polaris seeks a Sr. Web QA Automation Engineer in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, to ensure the quality of customer-facing websites. Responsibilities include developing test plans, building and maintaining automated testing solutions, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. Requires 8+ years of software testing experience, with a focus on C# and Selenium WebDriver.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and drive test plan, test cases and test strategies based on project requirements.
  • Build, maintain and execute robust and scalable web automation framework and scripts.
  • Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Execute regression & smoke testing to support software releases.
  • Conduct performance and load testing.
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Be an active participant in and help enhance a mature agile environment.
  • Explore new methods and tools for functional, automated testing & AI.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.

Krav

  • At least 8+ years of experience in software testing.
  • At least 5 years of experience delivering highly effective web & mobile web automation solutions using Selenium WebDriver in a C# environment.
  • Strong experience building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing using Playwright / Postman.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, test case /script generation tools).
  • Experience implementing and supporting continuous integration testing solutions with Jenkins / GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, LambdaTest.
  • Familiarity with C# and JavaScript.
  • Strong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing.
  • Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar degree.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Hands-on experience in building automated test suites (API) using Playwright-TS is a plus.
  • Good to have: performance testing experience (JMeter).
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven test automation solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in web automation using Selenium C# / Playwright.
  • Familiarity with LambdaTest.
  • TestRail experience.
  • Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools (JMeter and Azure Monitoring Dashboards).
  • ISTQB Certification in Software Testing is a plus.
