Senior Test Lead - Android, iOS

Job Summary

The Senior Test Lead will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans that align with project requirements and objectives. This role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders to define the testing scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring that the quality standards are met throughout the testing lifecycle. The Senior Test Lead will also play a pivotal role in enhancing the testing process, mentoring QA engineers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Highlight Performance Concerns, And Ensure Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures Are Maintained And Up-To-Date Using Android Testing Tools.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Android Application Testing To Enhance Efficiency And Effectiveness.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts For Android Applications Using Tools Like Appium And Espresso, Ensuring Consistency And Alignment With Quality Standards To Minimize Exposure To Defects.
4. Develop, Guide, And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Use Of The Testing Framework Specific To Android, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Productivity Through Hands-On Training And Support.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong Understanding Of Android Application Testing Frameworks And Methodologies.
2. Proficient In Automated Testing Tools Such As Appium And Espresso.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Java And Its Application In Android Testing.
4. Familiarity With Performance Testing And Tools Associated With Android Applications.
5. Excellent Communication Skills For Effective Collaboration With Stakeholders And Team Members.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Istqb Certified Tester Advanced Level Or Equivalent Testing Certifications For Mobile Applications.
