Microsoft is seeking experienced Senior Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to drive strategic execution for Microsoft Entra Identity. The role involves partnering across teams to solve complex platform challenges, enhance efficiencies, and expand capabilities into new regions and clouds, requiring strong program management, technical acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Ansvarsområden

Partner across engineering, product, infrastructure, Azure, operations, finance, and business teams to define, scope, and deliver complex technical programs.
Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, ensuring program decisions support long-term scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness.
Establish clear program charters, goals, success criteria, and priorities for strategic platform initiatives, including AAD Graph Migration and Kubernetes migration.
Translate organizational objectives, customer requirements, and technical constraints into structured, executable program plans.
Drive proactive, data-informed risk and dependency management, identify technical and organizational risks early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate decisions when necessary.
Define and track measurable outcomes through OKRs, KPIs, migration metrics, and operational health indicators.
Use data to evaluate progress, identify gaps, guide prioritization, and provide leadership with a clear view of program health and business impact.
Lead end-to-end execution across complex, multi-team programs, managing integrated schedules, critical paths, dependencies, milestones, and readiness criteria.
Ensure comprehensive launch and operational readiness, coordinating engineering validation, security and compliance requirements, infrastructure readiness, deployment planning, service operations, customer-impact assessment, and post-launch measurement.
Create scalable program structures and operating mechanisms that improve execution across the Directory and Compute platforms.
Establish effective governance, decision-making forums, escalation paths, and reporting mechanisms without introducing unnecessary process.
Communicate clearly across all levels of the organization, developing concise, executive-ready updates that communicate outcomes, progress, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and decisions required.
Present program strategy and status confidently to large cross-functional and leadership audiences.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
2+ years of experience with software development lifecycles from conception to delivery.
2+ years of experience with data analysis, data presentation using Power BI or similar.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, OR equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Typical base pay range for IC4 across the U.S.: USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year.
For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for IC4 is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
Typical base pay range for IC5 across the U.S.: USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year.
For San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for IC5 is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
