We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with expertise in Java and Kotlin to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. The role involves deep understanding of the Java language, runtime behavior, and common library APIs, along with proficiency in dependency management using Maven and debugging complex issues.

Ansvarsområden

  • Deep understanding of the Java language, runtime behavior, bytecode compatibility, and common library APIs.
  • Proficiency in dependency management using Maven.
  • Ability to perform backward compatibility analysis by reviewing release notes and changelogs.
  • Skills in patch management, including creating, maintaining, and resolving merge conflicts.
  • Experience with static analysis and resolving compilation failures.
  • Strong debugging skills to identify issues related to reverse-dependencies, subtle behavioral changes, threading issues, or reflection problems.
  • Proficiency in unit testing.

Krav

  • Java Proficiency (Deep understanding of the Java language, runtime behavior, bytecode compatibility, and common library APIs) - Level 5
  • Dependency Management (Maven) - Level 5
  • Backward Compatibility Analysis (Ability to review release notes and changelogs to identify breaking API changes, behavior modifications, or deprecated features between library versions) - Level 3
  • Patch Management (Ability to create, maintain, and resolve merge conflicts) - Level 4
  • Static Analysis (Experience resolving compilation failures) - Level 5
  • Debugging Reverse-Dependencies: Strong debugging skills to identify why an unrelated team's test failed after upgrading a foundational library (e.g., subtle behavioral changes, threading issues, reflection problems) - Level 4
  • Unit testing - Level 5
