HCLTech is seeking a Senior Technical Lead / DevOps Engineer in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications and data platforms with a focus on SQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. Responsibilities include technical guidance, code reviews, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver complex projects.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL and PostgreSQL code, procedures, and functions.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of application components.
  • Collaborate with DBAs, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Upgrade, migrate, and maintain PostgreSQL database environments.
  • Create Airflow DAGs.
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of developers.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews and establish quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure process compliance and participate in technical discussions as a consultant.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.

Krav

  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL development.
  • Deep understanding of database architecture, data modeling, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  • Good understanding of Python for automation, scripting, and application development.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting Apache Airflow workflows and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Git version control and release management practices.
  • Understanding of application security, monitoring, and operational best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing.
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark DataFrames, Polars, Pandas, or similar data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Exposure to Databricks and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL SQL and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, or other version control tools.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with PBI tools and data visualization.
