Seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Hyderabad, India, to design, deploy, and operate cloud-native data platforms on GCP. Responsibilities include managing Kafka, data pipelines, BigQuery, and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI/CD using Harness. The role emphasizes Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for data services, focusing on monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, deployment, and operational support of cloud-native data platforms, infrastructure, and platform services on GCP.
  • Manage Kafka topics, producers, consumers, schema management, throughput optimization, lag management, resilience, and platform monitoring.
  • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration patterns, database operations, scalability, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high availability.
  • Implement automated provisioning, configuration management, and platform lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Automate deployment, testing, and operational workflows for data platforms using CI/CD and Harness.
  • Implement metrics, logs, traces, pipeline monitoring, health dashboards, and actionable alerting for data services (SRE).
  • Ensure production readiness, provide operational support, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Plan for scalability, resilience testing, disaster recovery, and business continuity preparedness.
  • Utilize Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and other observability tooling for proactive platform support and issue detection.

Krav

  • Mandatory GCP Data Platform Engineering & Operations experience.
  • Mandatory Kafka & Streaming Data Platform Engineering expertise.
  • Mandatory Data Pipeline Engineering & Data Integration skills, including database operations, scalability, performance tuning, backup, recovery, high availability, data validation, reconciliation, quality monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Mandatory BigQuery & Cloud-Native Analytics Platform Engineering capability.
  • Mandatory Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) & Platform Automation experience.
  • Mandatory CI/CD Engineering & Data Platform Release Automation exposure (Harness).
  • Mandatory Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for Data Services experience, including metrics, logs, traces, monitoring, alerting, production readiness, operational support, RCA, continuous improvement, scalability planning, resilience testing, disaster recovery, business continuity, toil reduction, operational excellence, service performance optimization, error budgets, reliability targets, and operational health indicators.
  • Mandatory experience with Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry & Observability Tooling.
