Seeking a Senior Power BI Developer in Hyderabad with 5-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing Power BI solutions. This role requires advanced proficiency in DAX, semantic modeling, SQL, and experience with Databricks and Azure. The position involves coaching junior developers and contributing to technical direction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design, develop, deploy, and optimize Power BI solutions, including complex dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  • Design and govern enterprise-grade datasets with well-structured relationships, hierarchies, row-level security, and reusable measure libraries.
  • Architect performant semantic layers over complex source systems using advanced dimensional data modeling and enterprise data warehouse design.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable BI solutions and act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance testing, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for reports and data models.
  • Create, maintain, and govern technical documentation aligned with corporate standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers, including knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Influence technical direction without formal line management responsibility.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize effectively, and operate independently.
  • Utilize Power BI deployment pipelines, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices for enterprise BI assets.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams and work in large-scale data processing environments using Databricks.
  • Work within corporate governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

Krav

  • 5–8 years of commercial experience as a Power BI Developer, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Proven end-to-end ownership of designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing Power BI solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in DAX, including complex calculations, performance optimization, and calculation groups.
  • Deep expertise in semantic modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced dimensional data modeling and enterprise data warehouse design.
  • Advanced understanding of data visualization and dashboard UX principles.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, with hands-on experience using SSRS, SSIS, and Azure SQL Database.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP architectures, and ETL processes.
  • Practical experience with Databricks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure–centric architectures.
  • Strong capability to translate complex business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
  • Proven experience conducting performance testing and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Extensive experience creating, maintaining, and governing technical documentation.
  • Solid experience working within corporate governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Mandatory experience coaching and mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
  • Strong leadership mindset.
  • Experience with Power BI deployment pipelines, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices for enterprise BI assets.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Awareness of Microsoft Fabric and its evolving role in unified analytics platforms.
  • Interest in Generative AI tools and their application within business intelligence and analytics workflows.
  • Familiarity with Copilot for Power BI, AI-assisted analytics, or natural language querying capabilities.
  • Experience applying prompt engineering techniques to enhance productivity and insights within analytics contexts.
