We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with expertise in ETL development for our Business Intelligence and Analytics team in Hyderabad. The role involves developing new features, refactoring legacy code, and fixing bugs, with a focus on the entire software development lifecycle and adherence to Google's best practices. Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration tools and programming languages like Python are mandatory.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop new features/enhancements, refactor legacy ETL code, and fix bugs for the Business Intelligence and Analytics team.
  • Own tasks through the entire software development lifecycle, including documenting requirements, development approach, implementing changes, testing, gathering approvals, and migrating code to production.
  • Develop code changes, unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests following Google's documented standards and best practices.
  • Develop code changes based on functional requirements defined via BRDs, FSDs, TDDs, or other instructions.
  • Collaborate with Google business analysts, program managers, and other contractors to determine functional and technical requirements.
  • Provide support for new and existing data models, ETL pipelines, and data marts.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides for assigned tasks.

Krav

  • 5 or more years of experience in Data engineering projects.
  • Strong SQL skills in complex queries and data manipulation.
  • Experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Experience in developing ETL/building data pipelines with ETL tools or programming languages.
  • Experience in databridge.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, including BigQuery, MySQL, and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Analytical skills with experience identifying, quantifying, and effectively raising business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the capability to execute with business stakeholders.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Python programming, shell scripting, and Java scripting experience are a plus.
  • Supply chain experience background is preferred.
  • Preferably experienced in multiple BI aspects.
