Atlas Copco is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist with expertise in VAT to ensure accurate reporting, provide guidance, and drive process improvements. The role requires 2-4 years of experience in indirect taxes, a degree in a related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members. The position is based in Prague, Czech Republic, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Ansvarsområden

  • Preparing, validating, and submitting VAT returns and documentation.
  • Providing proactive VAT advice to various departments.
  • Supporting tax audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Identifying and managing tax risks.
  • Communicating VAT-related opportunities and risks to business partners.
  • Analyzing and improving VAT reporting processes.
  • Assisting in the automation of VAT processes.
  • Supporting internal VAT-related projects.
  • Delivering VAT training sessions.
  • Mentoring junior VAT team members.

Krav

  • 2–4 years of experience in indirect taxes (VAT).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Great analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Team player able to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to inspire and support junior team members.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Good knowledge of SAP (an advantage).
  • Very good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
