Ansvarsområden
- Prepare and review state and local sales/use tax returns for multiple operating business units.
- Assist in coordination and management of sales/use tax audits.
- Prepare and file personal property tax returns for major plant facilities and sales offices.
- Provide legal research, consultation, and opinions regarding sales/use tax issues.
- Guide operations, accounts payable, and cross-functional teams on proper taxability.
- Collaborate with IT and the tax team to automate sales and use tax compliance processes.
- Serve as the focal point for coordinating system testing for Oracle and Vertex.
- Prepare and provide sales tax training presentations.
- Maintain Vertex taxability matrix, respond to sales tax notices and customer requests.
Krav
- Bachelor of Science/Arts in Accounting, Finance or Business required
- Minimum 3 years with public accounting and/or large corporation with multi-divisional, multi-state and multi-national structure
Önskade kvalifikationer
- CPA or CMI preferred
- Knowledge of Vertex is a plus
