I korthet

Google's tax team is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to provide end-to-end support for tax optimization, controversy, and audits in India and South East Asia. The role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve complex tax issues, support business growth, and ensure compliance.

Ansvarsområden

Research and deliver strategic support to regional business partners through complex tax environments in India and South Asia.
Support complex tax audits, develop and implement proactive defense strategies to achieve practical and timely issue resolutions.
Collaborate with tax, cross-functional teams, and external advisors on key tax positions, resolve complex tax issues and establish policies and procedures for tax positions and documentation to minimize tax exposure.
Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams including Business, Legal, Treasury and Accounting to enable the business structures and processes for the new product and business launch and expansions.
Analyze latest tax and regulatory developments and provide actionable guidance to the stakeholders and enable implementation of the required changes.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in tax.
Experience in international tax with a law firm, accounting firm, or in-house tax department.
Experience in attorney-level litigation in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
Experience with corporate, international, or state tax laws and regulations.
Experience with local tax and administration.

Önskade kvalifikationer

6 years of experience in Corporate Income Tax/International Tax in reputed accounting/law firms or multinational corporations.
Experience leading tax projects, managing project workflows, and working to achieve overall company business objectives.
Experience communicating tax technical issues to non-tax professionals.
Experience performing investigative tax research and tax communication.
Experience with spreadsheet software, including financial modeling and analyzing data sets.
Experience in applicable tax matters, tax laws, and tax attributes.
