Ansvarsområden
- Contribute to Air Traffic Management engineering team in tender, execution, and delivery phases.
- Act as interface between ATM product design authority, developers, project teams, and customers.
- Deliver product integration, remediate issues, and identify product improvement opportunities.
- Map customer requirements to system solutions using Saab’s ATM portfolio.
- Perform requirements analysis, develop requirement specifications, and participate in design, verification, and validation.
- Develop external interface specifications, system design documents, and acceptance test documents.
- Integrate ATM Systems to realize projects.
- Coordinate with product software development teams for customer-specific solutions.
- Lead integration activities, define, develop, and verify parameterisation aspects of site implementations.
- Manage parameterisation defect prioritisation and support customer validation.
- Deploy, configure, integrate, and test ATM system software and parameterisation.
- Perform activities based on applicable policies, guidelines, and procedures (health and safety, quality, environment).
Krav
- Tertiary qualifications (bachelor’s or master’s degree) in a relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related) and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the defence industry).
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in ATM domain including system integration.
- In-depth knowledge of network, network security, XML and Linux.
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies.
- Experience with test and validation of software.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the system engineering process, including requirements management, system design, integration, test and validation.
- Ability to undertake high-level requirements derivation, system design and implementation.
- Ability to review and interpret specifications, interface documentation, drawings and estimates.
- Ability to understand complex technical issues and manage them within project cost, time and quality constraints.
- Ability to write clear and precise technical reports.
- Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Demonstrated awareness and ability to address whole of capability/systems issues (safety, ILS, cybersecurity, supportability).
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain is highly desirable.
- Eligible for chartered engineering status and state engineering registration (Queensland/Victoria).
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance preferably to baseline level.

- Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain is highly desirable.
