Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Staff Windows Developer with strong C/C++ and debugging skills for its Windows on Snapdragon product lines. This role involves end-to-end product lifecycle management within an Agile Scrum Team, requiring collaboration with internal and external teams to support and unblock issues on Qualcomm chipsets.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as a key member of an Agile Scrum Team.
  • Play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of Windows-on-Snapdragon product lines.
  • Gather requirements, design, and develop key features on Windows on Snapdragon products.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to bring up, support, triage, and unblock issues on Qualcomm chipsets.
  • Develop embedded Windows software.

Krav

  • Embedded Windows software and good programming skills.
  • Solid understanding of Operating System concepts.
  • Windows and/or Linux kernel and development experience.
  • Strong understanding of C/C++, Shell Scripting or Python skills.
  • Hands-on experience on debugging ARM or other SoC embedded systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across stakeholders and drive towards task completion.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience (preferred).
  • C/C++ programming (preferred).
  • Windows OS internals knowledge and experience (preferred).
  • Device driver programming and debugging with WinDbg, JTAG/other tools (preferred).
  • Processor architecture and cache subsystem knowledge (preferred).
  • Experience with PC software - System BIOS, UEFI, ACPI, Drivers, Applications (preferred).
  • ARM assembly knowledge (preferred).
  • Embedded OS (Kernel architecture, OS services heap, memory, multi-core, multi-threading, and crash debugging) knowledge (preferred).
  • Knowledge of OS/system performance profiling and optimization techniques (preferred).
  • Communication, written & interpersonal skills, motivation, the ability to learn quickly (preferred).
