Qualcomm seeks a Senior Staff Digital Design Power Engineer in Folsom, California to lead the team in improving engineering efficiency and product quality for next-generation power control systems. Ansvarsområden
- Improve engineering efficiency, product quality, and responsibility of designing/developing next generation power control systems.
- Work on silicon engineering based on the latest technology nodes.
- Understand and work on all aspects of VLSI development cycle, including architecture, micro architecture, RTL design along with interactions with verification, Synthesis & PD teams for design convergence.
- Architect and design the next generation power control system including power control interface with external VR.
- Optimize the power consumption of the power control system to minimize the overhead and penalty of the power control system.
- Lead and guide junior engineers to streamline power control system deliverables.
- Act as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
- Communicate and implement a development plan.
Krav
- Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
- Six (6) years of experience in a related occupation.
- Experience in RTL design.
- Understanding of VLSI development cycle, including architecture, micro architecture, RTL design, verification, Synthesis & PD teams.
- Experience optimizing power consumption.
