Senior Sourcing Engineer

Your Role

1. Lead supply chain optimization to ensure a world class supply chain of competitive products towards our customers at the lowest possible overall cost of delivery, lowest net working capital for the company and best performance of the product.
2. Supplier selection Project based on cost, quality, technical ablity and risk.
3. Conduct spend analysis, market evaluaion and benchmark, execute RFQ’s and lead supplier negotiations to assure price in a best level.
4. Research, evaluate and develop potential domestic and international suppliers to meet PC’s needs.
5. Category analysis and supply chain strategy set up and implementation in alignment with local strategy.
6. Supplier classification and Day-to-day management of the relationship with selected vendors and maintaining of accurate supplier infomation(contract, tasks, price changes, compliance requirements...).
7. Lead annual price negotation and further study the cost reduction oppotunity and implement activities to assure continuous cost improvement.
8. Communicate and influence key business stakeholders and lead cross functional teams to develop and execute strategies, ensure decisions meet business needs
9. Influence product design to ensure optimal value at the lowest cost.
10. Actively support planning team in order to ensure the delivery to meet requirement.
11. Materials price from intercompany price maintanence and annual update.

 To succeed, you will need  

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business and Administration or equivalent knowledge through working experience

2. At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Sourcing in industrial manufacturing company, preferred with leadership or management experience

3. Technical knowledge of commodities to include but not limited to, Casting, Mechanical, Motors, Fabrication, Pipework and Vacuum components

4. Result driven person, with interpersonal skills

5. Good computer skill, ERP knowledge is a plus, but not necessary

6. Good command of English language both oral & writing
