Volvo Group is looking for a Senior Solution Consultant IT with expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP for production preparation and shop floor execution in discrete manufacturing. The role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, collaborating with delivery teams, and supporting run-time operations and MES integrations.

Ansvarsområden

  • Work in SAP S/4HANA PP with a focus on production preparation and shop floor execution in discrete manufacturing.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and lead fit-gap analysis.
  • Design solutions that deliver business value.
  • Collaborate with solution delivery teams in an agile setup, producing functional designs and specifications.
  • Support unit testing, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Investigate production issues, drive resolution, and improve stability and performance.
  • Participate in MES-related discussions and design integrations between MES and SAP/ERP.

Krav

  • Working knowledge on S/4 PP functionality.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing SAP PP – configuring and designing solutions in the production Preparation / execution process, preferably in discrete manufacturing.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from customers.
  • Experience in designing custom solutions to fulfil requirements after fit-gap analysis.
  • Working knowledge of planning functions in PP: Demand management, MRP, Capacity planning and scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of variant configuration and engineering change management and their influence on manufacturing.
  • Experience with MES solutions: Gathering inputs, designing and integrating with SAP/ERP.
  • Overall experience of 8 to 10 years and expertise in shop floor execution (discrete manufacturing) preferably in the automobile industry.
  • Must have experience in supporting a technical team in the creation of custom enhancements in ERP: Custom function modules, programs, labels and prints.
  • Experience in customer facing discussions: Gathering requirements, modulating discussions, solution presentation.
  • Experience working as a part of a solution delivery team, preferably in an agile/sprint mode: Creating designs, specifications, unit testing, supporting UAT and go-live support.
  • Experience in run-time support. Handling production issues - investigation, resolution to closure in a timely manner.
  • Customer-focused consultant who communicates clearly and can facilitate requirement workshops, moderate discussions, and present solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Combine SAP PP expertise with a pragmatic mindset, choosing standard functionality where possible and supporting well-governed enhancements when needed.
  • Enjoy working in international, cross-functional teams and take end-to-end ownership from discovery through delivery and support.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Good to have experience in Variant Configuration.
  • Good to have understanding of complementary modules like QM, MM, PM.
