Ansvarsområden

Lead a team of software engineers, driving technical direction, system architecture, and end-to-end execution for YouTube Creator Support products and platforms.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance scalable full-stack software systems and Generative AI-powered workflows serving millions of creators and global support operations.
Partner closely with Product Management, User Experience Design, User Research, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical roadmaps.
Uphold high engineering standards through architecture and design reviews, code reviews, operational reliability, security, and data privacy best practices.
Mentor and coach software engineers on the team, fostering technical growth, ownership, and engineering excellence.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Experience with Generative AI and full-stack web development.
Experience programming in C++, Python or Java.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products.
Experience with software design and architecture.
Experience integrating Generative AI tools or large language model (LLM) interfaces into software workflows.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
