Google Cloud is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud TPU Host Networking team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves developing and enhancing network communication stacks, optimizing performance for distributed ML workloads, and contributing to large-scale system design and networking technologies.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and enhance network telemetry for deep visibility into network behavior and accelerated troubleshooting.
  • Engage in cross-layer optimization efforts based on production learnings.
  • Improve visibility into the network stack.
  • Tune the host networking stack to meet multi-slice data center network (DCN) performance requirements for new product introductions (NPIs).
  • Analyze, debug, and optimize host networking performance for distributed ML workloads running on Cloud TPUs.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in object-oriented programming with Java, C++ or Python.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • English proficiency is a requirement for all roles unless stated otherwise.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
