As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements, design and architect scalable solutions, and write optimized, maintainable code. You will ensure the reliability and supportability of live services, drive engineering excellence through automation and best practices, and contribute to a team focused on innovation and customer success.

Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements and incorporates feedback into designs.
  • Leads discussions for product/solution architecture, testing design hypotheses, and proposing solutions.
  • Independently creates and executes plans for testing and assuring quality of solutions.
  • Drives identification of dependencies and develops design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
  • Produces extensible and maintainable code, optimizes, debugs, and reuses code for improved performance.
  • Applies debugging tools and examines logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Reviews code to ensure adherence to quality standards, reliability, accuracy, and appropriate scale.
  • Drives the creation and conducting of experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes.
  • Creates and updates implementation frameworks, drives implementation and deployment of solutions.
  • Maintains operations of live services, implements solutions for complex issues, and writes postmortems.
  • Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), guides other engineers, and monitors system/product/service for degradation.
  • Integrates instrumentation for gathering telemetry data and drives refinement of products through data analytics.
  • Builds, enhances, and reuses software developer tools to support code creation, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Drives comprehensive application of automation within production and deployment.
  • Ensures adherence to security, privacy, safety, and accessibility compliance.
  • Stays current with skills by investing time in learning new trends, technical solutions, and patterns.
  • Maintains communication with key partners across the Microsoft ecosystem and acts as a key contact for leadership.
  • Drives product development and scaling to customer requirements.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript OR equivalent experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing scalable cloud services using Azure infrastructure or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of Azure cloud architecture and services.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Foundry, Azure Machine Learning is preferred.
  • Previous experience on OAuth flow and identity provider, AAD preferred.
  • DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies.
  • Understanding of security, identity management and networking are a strong plus.
  • Experience problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience multi-tasking while balancing short-term and long-term tasks.
  • Track record of collaborative design in an agile team environment.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.
