Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Software Architect in Hod Hasharon, Israel, to design advanced embedded software systems using Linux, DSP, and wireless communication technologies like Wi-Fi and 5G/6G. Ansvarsområden

  • Architect and design end-to-end embedded software solutions for complex systems.
  • Lead development across Linux kernel and user space, including driver development and system optimization.
  • Define and implement real-time and high-performance DSP algorithms.
  • Design and optimize wireless communication stacks, including Wi-Fi and 5G/6G technologies.
  • Drive architecture for networking protocols and performance optimization.
  • Integrate and optimize AI/ML algorithms for training and inference in resource-constrained embedded environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, RF, system, and product teams).
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews.
  • Ensure software scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive innovation into the product roadmap.

Krav

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development or architecture.
  • Solid background in DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
  • Hands-on experience in wireless communications, including Wi-Fi (802.11 standards) and 5G/6G or cellular communication systems.
  • Proficiency in C, C++ (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Assembly (for low-level optimization).
  • Proficiency in Python (for scripting, automation, AI workflows).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or low-latency Linux tuning.
  • Familiarity with hardware acceleration.
  • Experience in modem, PHY/MAC layer development.
  • Background in performance analysis, profiling, and optimization tools.
  • Experience working in distributed systems.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
