Qualcomm is looking for a Senior SoC Physical Design Engineer in Bangalore, India, to design and optimize electronic systems. The role requires experience in physical design, synthesis, PnR, sign-off convergence, and low power design.

Ansvarsområden

  • Plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, circuits, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.
  • Perform synthesis, place and route (PnR), and sign-off convergence.
  • Conduct Static Timing Analysis (STA) and sign-off optimizations.
  • Implement low power design, including UPF, multi-voltage domains, and power gating.
  • Utilize automation to improve Power, Performance, and Area (PPA).

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in physical design.
  • Experience in synthesis, PnR, sign-off convergence, including STA and sign-off optimizations.
  • Experience with demanding PPA requirement of complex sub-system/SOC, place and route, IP integration.
  • Experience in low power design implementation including UPF, multi-voltage domains, power gating.
  • Experience with ASIC design flows and methodology of Physical design.
  • Understanding of circuit design, device physics, and deep sub-micron technology.
  • Worked on multiple tape-outs in advanced technology nodes.
  • Good understanding of automation to drive efforts to improve PPA.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
