This role is for a Senior Project Lead in Pune, India, responsible for developing detailed project plans, providing technical guidance, and overseeing quality assurance. The position requires a Bachelor's in Instrumentation Engineering and experience with control systems and instruments.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance for work completion.
  • Select/specify field instruments and control valves; develop loop wiring and installation details.
  • Prepare instrument index, datasheets, I/O lists, hook-up drawings; review vendor documents.
  • Support cable tray routing, cabinet layouts, and commissioning.
  • Design and implement DCS/PLC-based control and safety systems, networks, and LV control panels.
  • Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and interlock logic.
  • Engineer cabinet designs and I/O allocations; review loop drawings and wiring schemes.
  • Configure/commission control systems; lead FAT/SAT and troubleshoot network/hardware issues.
  • Implement alarm rationalization and basic performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to translate design bases into control logic.
  • Document configurations, backups, and change management for maintainability.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in technical discussions/reviews.
  • Create work plans, monitor, and track the work schedule for on-time delivery as per defined quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality and develop mitigation strategies / contingency plans.
  • Lead and empower a dynamic development team by boosting their technical skills, improving productivity, and fostering a collaborative high-performance culture.

Krav

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s in Instrumentation Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
  • Tools: SPI/Intools or equivalent; AutoCAD/EPLAN; knowledge of industrial protocols.
  • Understanding of hazardous areas and installation practices.
  • Hands-on with modern DCS/PLC platforms (e.g., PCS 7/DeltaV/ControlLogix) and SCADA/HMI.
  • Working knowledge of industrial Ethernet, cybersecurity hardening basics, and time-sync.
  • Ability to read P&IDs and develop control narratives from process intent.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Familiarity with SIS lifecycle concepts.
  • Experience with COMOS is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Clear communication and cross-discipline coordination skills.
