ABB is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Beijing for a full-time, on-site role. The position involves technical review of E-House agreements, overall E-House design and planning, HVAC and fire protection system review, and power distribution system support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years of E-House design experience, and proficient English skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Review technical agreements for E-Houses, identify risks, and formulate technical requirements for suppliers.
  • Oversee overall internal layout design of E-Houses, ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.
  • Review HVAC and fire protection system designs, performing heat load calculations and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers to complete the layout and interface design of electrical systems within the E-House.
  • Review factory internal design drawings for lighting, grounding, power distribution, and labeling.
  • Develop internal cable selection and design for E-Houses and compile procurement lists.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, understanding their requirements and delivering technical proposals.
  • Participate in E-House Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support customer factory inspections.
  • Prepare and review technical documents, ensuring compliance with relevant international and national standards.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of design and engineering experience in E-Houses, large-scale containerized power distribution centers, energy storage stations, or related fields.
  • Proficient in English (equivalent to CET-6 level) for oral communication, reading, and writing professional technical documentation, and participating in meetings with overseas clients.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiar with international standards related to E-Houses (such as IEC 61331, IEEE 1584) and electrical/HVAC design specifications.
  • Familiar with layout requirements for high/low voltage switchgear, ring main units, variable frequency drives, DC panels, and UPS systems within E-Houses.
  • Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Capable of independently leading technical clarification meetings.
  • Strong project management awareness and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Rigorous logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong stress tolerance and adaptability to occasional short-term business trips.
