Seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer in Pune, India, to act as the primary on-site contact for production engineering matters. Responsibilities include providing proactive support, ensuring BOM/ECN accuracy, leading root-cause analysis, and coordinating with R&D for design changes.

Ansvarsområden

Provide proactive support to production unit and drive rapid resolution of production stoppages.
Ensure MBOM/EBOM accuracy and timely, correct ECN implementation.
Lead field failure root-cause analysis and close the loop with Engineering.
Provide localisation and DFM/DFA inputs for Indian manufacturing and sourcing.
Provide feedback on operator/service manuals and other product documentation.
Act as the on-site escalation owner, coordinating daily with PU production, sourcing and quality and acting as a bridge to R&D.
Coordinate with Tampere R&D on design changes, priorities and validation.
Support item/BOM data management and release of drawings for production.
Mentor Production support engineers on way of working and technical understanding.

Krav

Working knowledge of PLM and ERP systems (Teamcenter, SAP) and 3D CAD.
Strong BOM/ECN understanding and change-management discipline.
Structured problem solving (RCA / DFMEA / 8D) and independent decision-making.
Select Mechanical components considering performance, cost, and service.
Good understanding of International standards (ISO)/ IEC / ANSI for welds, GD&T
Troubleshoots Mechanical systems and proposes solutions.
Knowledge of ISO drafting standards for drawings.
Basic knowledge of mechanical interfaces with systems.
Good understanding on working principle for various Mechanical components like Bearings, Transmission, Axle, Engine, Cooler etc
Strong verbal and written communication for clear cross-site coordination.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across production, sourcing and quality.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Exposure to UG/NX Teamcenter integrated environment, Auto Cad tool is an added advantage.
