Synopsys is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, maintain, and evolve web applications, internal tools, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. This role involves architecting CI/CD pipelines, managing Kubernetes, and automating operational workflows to enhance reliability and efficiency for engineering teams.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design and maintain robust web applications and internal tools using Angular or React, Node.js/NestJS, and Python.
  • Architect and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions spanning on-prem data centers and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
  • Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Deploy, operate, and optimize Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, GKE, and self-managed clusters).
  • Automate provisioning and operational workflows with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Implement observability and reliability practices—metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, Platform Engineering, or closely related roles supporting production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, including core compute, networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
  • Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform across cloud and/or on-prem environments.
  • Strong Kubernetes experience (AKS and/or EKS), including deployment, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operating containerized workloads at scale.
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tooling.
  • Automation skills in Python and/or PowerShell.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Differentiating experience with modern observability practices (metrics, logs, traces) using OpenTelemetry and tools like Prometheus/Grafana, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Elastic, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Familiarity with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) or AI-assisted operations is a plus.
  • Ability to frame problems clearly, validate assumptions, and align stakeholders.
  • Calm urgency in approaching incidents, restoring service first while capturing evidence.
  • Precision and transparency in communication, surfacing tradeoffs and risk early.
  • Comfort challenging architectural choices constructively with data and alternatives.
