Ericsson is seeking a Senior Patent Attorney in Gothenburg, Sweden, to manage a valuable patent portfolio in the ICT industry, focusing on antenna technology. The role involves working with R&D teams, managing patent dockets, and supporting patent drafting and prosecution.

Ansvarsområden

Work with R&D teams in Gothenburg and globally to identify and develop patentable telecom inventions.
Manage own patent docket with accuracy and precision.
Carry out claim charting and technical analysis.
Handle invention disclosures and contribute to portfolio strategy.
Support in-house patent drafting and prosecution.
Act as a bridge between patent attorneys and R&D teams on technical matters.
Keep up to date with developments in European and international patent law, telecom standards and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with legal, technical and business colleagues in an international, cross-functional team.

Krav

In-depth knowledge of telecom technology, such as antenna, wireless transport, core networks, 3GPP radio or mission critical, gained through professional experience, research or technical expertise.
A master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science or a related field.
Either (partial) qualification as a European Patent Attorney, or strong hands-on technical experience with a genuine interest in patents and a motivation to develop IPR expertise.
A solid understanding of telecommunication technologies.
Strong coordination and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
Substantial on-site availability at the Rosenheim location.
Experience in patent portfolio management.
Hands-on patent drafting and prosecution experience.

Familiarity with AI-based drafting tools and modern IP workflows.
