The Worldwide Devices & Services (WDS) organization exists to help customers easily discover and choose the right Windows device through seamless, curated omnichannel experiences  Within WDS, the Worldwide Go-to-Market (WW GTM) organization defines where we play and how we win, infusing customer and partner insights into WDS focused growth bets, aligned investments, and scalable execution that enables the sales teams to deliver on our financial commitments.Within WW GTM, WDS Marketing's purpose is to elevate the voice of the customer to craft scalable omnichannel experiences that enable sales.

As the Senior Partner Marketing Manager - Windows Field & Go-to-Market you are responsible for enabling field readiness and driving execution excellence across the Windows partner ecosystem. This role translates worldwide GTM priorities into actionable guidance, ensures regional teams have the tools and resources needed to execute successfully, facilitates global field engagement, and helps create a continuous feedback loop between worldwide and regional stakeholders. Success is measured through launch readiness, field engagement, execution quality, and the ability to scale best practices that drive partner and business outcomes.

This role serves as an orchestrator of partner marketing readiness, field engagement, and execution excellence for the Windows business—ensuring every GTM motion lands consistently, scales globally, and delivers measurable impact through our partner ecosystem.

This role is based in Redmond, Washington and requires a minimum of three days per week onsite to enable close collaboration with executive leaders, cross-functional partners, and the global marketing organization.

Responsibilities

Enable Worldwide Field Readiness

  • Translate worldwide Windows GTM priorities, launches, and partner marketing initiatives into clear, actionable guidance that enables successful execution across regions and partners.
  • Co-develop and deliver field-ready playbooks, readiness toolkits, launch materials, and execution frameworks that simplify complex strategies.
  • Ensure regional teams have timely access to the assets, resources, and guidance needed to execute with confidence.
  • Partner with WW channel marketing, WW category and regional stakeholders to identify readiness gaps and proactively resolve execution barriers.
  • Support launch planning and readiness milestones by coordinating timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across the business.

Drive Execution Excellence Across the Partner Ecosystem

  • Establish clear execution standards and best practices across retail, OEM, silicon, and channel partner marketing motions.
  • Create and maintain execution guides, benchmarks, testing frameworks, and success criteria that help regions optimize marketing performance.
  • Monitor launch readiness, asset adoption, execution quality, and partner activation performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Capture and scale successful regional and partner best practices globally, helping drive consistent and measurable business impact.
  • Support business reviews by surfacing execution insights, performance trends, and key learnings that influence future planning.

Lead Field Engagement and Community Communications

  • Serve as a primary connection point between worldwide teams and regional marketers, fostering alignment, engagement, and information flow across the organization.
  • Own key community engagement rhythms including newsletters, readiness communications, community calls, office hours, and field forums.
  • Develop agendas, presentations, speaker plans, and communication materials that help land priorities and improve organizational readiness.
  • Ensure field teams understand key business priorities, upcoming launches, available resources, and required actions.
  • Build strong relationships across regions to create a trusted community that promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and execution excellence.

Act as the Voice of the Field

  • Gather, synthesize, and communicate regional insights, partner feedback, and field observations to worldwide stakeholders.
  • Identify recurring themes, readiness challenges, execution gaps, and opportunities that may impact business results.
  • Facilitate feedback loops between regional teams and corporate stakeholders to surface meaningful field insights that improve future launches, campaigns, and GTM effectiveness.
  • Help translate field input into actionable recommendations that strengthen programs, improve clarity, and enhance execution.

Manage Readiness Operations and Business Rhythm

  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure launch deliverables, assets, communications, and readiness milestones are completed on schedule.
  • Maintain visibility into readiness status, asset availability, localization needs, and key launch dependencies.
  • Support ongoing governance processes, planning rhythms, and reporting mechanisms that improve operational discipline and execution consistency.
  • Leverage modern marketing technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and content management platforms to scale efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help ensure field teams can easily discover, access, and utilize critical marketing assets and resources.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years relevant experience in Retail/Channel Marketing/Marketing/Retail Sales. 
  • Proven success at marketing and execution planning – particularly Retail Marketing with Consumer Technology products.
  • Adept at building integrated marketing plans and campaigns across multiple marketing disciplines.
  • Direct experience building relationships with partners and a proven track record delivering growth/performance. 
  • Understand the digital and physical buying journey (omni channel), well-versed in sales channels, commerce platforms. 
  • Track record of marketing execution excellence and ROI through planning, operations-savvy, creative execution, readiness and analytics/insights.
  • Experience managing ambiguity and rapid change – demonstrate agility and risk-taking.
  • AI fluency, with demonstrated ability to apply generative AI to transform marketing, improve productivity, and drive data-informed decision making.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influence skills.

Partner Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
