As a Senior Materials Planner in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, you will ensure the efficient flow of materials across the business by balancing customer demand, inventory, and supplier performance. This hybrid role requires strong planning expertise, ERP/MRP system experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluent English to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic global supply chain environment.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and execute material planning strategies to support customer demand, production requirements, and inventory objectives.
  • Monitor material availability, identify risks, and proactively minimize supply disruptions.
  • Analyze planning data, ERP/MRP outputs, and supply chain trends to support informed business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Demand Planning, Quality, and Finance teams to align priorities and improve supply chain performance.
  • Manage planning activities within ERP and MRP systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely execution.
  • Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes.
  • Track and influence key performance indicators such as inventory turns, service levels, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and process effectiveness.
  • Leverage digital tools, automation solutions, and emerging technologies to improve planning outcomes.
  • Build productive relationships across teams, functions, suppliers, and locations.

Krav

  • 5+ years in material/distribution or production planning, supply chain, or procurement, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on ERP and MRP experience, including reading exceptions.
  • Proven ability to reprioritize on short notice.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to present planning data as a KPI story for non-planners.
  • Fluent English and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Active use or exposure to projects with AI-assisted planning or automation tools (copilots, RPA, Power Automate, DOMO).
  • Exposure to PFEP/ABC-XYZ segmentation, WMAPE-style forecast accuracy tracking, or similar planning frameworks.
  • Lean / continuous-improvement exposure.
  • Multi-site or international supply chain exposure.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
