Emerson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore to lead new production introductions, resolve manufacturing issues, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include process development, yield improvement, cost reduction, automation, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, and proficiency in computer skills.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and/or participate in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation activities for New Product or technology transfers.
Lead in yield improvement, root cause analysis to resolve product manufacturing failures & determine root cause, reduce scrap and improve quality.
Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, process automation and digital transformation.
Manage new equipment set-up and equipment improvements.
Generate process equipment specifications and ensure all equipment are robustly designed for mass production particularly on safety.
Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Lockout/Tagout procedures (LOTO), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Equipment Safety Requirements (ESR) for assembly & equipment processes.
Create and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, routing and any engineering related support.

Krav

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with process optimization, root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc).
Trained in Lean techniques, SPC, Six Sigma and Process Improvement tools.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards.
Proficiency in computer skills - Oracle business system and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint) skills preferred.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production environments.
Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Six Sigma Green Belt or other relevant certifications preferred.
Experience with automation, robotics, PLCs, welding or Industry 4.0 technologies is an advantage.
