AWS Security is seeking an experienced Senior Trade Compliance Manager for the APAC region to oversee import and export compliance for global cloud services. The role involves building and managing trade compliance processes, providing guidance on customs regulations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant operations across various APAC markets.

Ansvarsområden

  • Build and own core trade compliance processes and analytical rhythms.
  • Establish and manage positive business relations with key stakeholders.
  • Manage daily tasks related to providing import/export compliance guidance in APAC markets.
  • Assist with technology, hardware, and software trade classification (HTS, Schedule B, ECCN).
  • Interface with internal and external functional partners to identify and rectify process gaps.
  • Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures.
  • Build communications and training plans for internal and external partners.
  • Monitor import/export regulatory changes impacting the APAC region and communicate guidelines.
  • Generate and contribute to performance requirements, timelines, and metrics.
  • Proactively identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strict adherence to reporting and assessments.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent technology experience.
  • 7+ years of direct experience with customs and trade compliance in APAC Region.
  • 5+ years’ direct experience handling imports and/or exports Customs clearance operations and escalations in APAC Region.
  • 3+ years’ experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Prior government/regulatory agency experience is a plus.
  • Regulatory legal or technical experience is a plus.
  • Master’s Degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Customs Brokerage License is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using data driven process improvement tools and metrics.
