Qualcomm is looking for a Senior Manager, Sourcing in San Diego, California. This on-site, full-time role involves developing and executing sourcing strategies, leading complex supplier negotiations, and ensuring capacity and supply assurance. Foundry or direct foundry business experience is required.

Ansvarsområden

Develops new processes and procedures for sourcing based on standard and Qualcomm's sourcing principles.
Develops sourcing strategies and plans aligned with business unit objectives.
Guides others to provide sourcing options and recommendations based on technology, cost, risks, and schedule requirements.
Conducts and manages advanced data analysis to identify problems and develop solutions.
Develops and communicates contract negotiation strategies, including IP licensing, pricing, device development, and supply assurance.
Collaborates internally and externally to plan and execute work based on factors such as design changes, cost targets, and scheduled quantities.
Reviews assigned projects and assigns projects to the team.
Defines and improves processes for the team.

Krav

Foundry or direct foundry business experience is needed.
Position requires to be onsite in San Diego, full time.
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of Sourcing or related work experience OR Associate's degree and 10+ years of Sourcing or related work experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of Sourcing or related work experience.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years of work experience (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years).

Önskade kvalifikationer

Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
4+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Sr. Director level and above).
2+ years of working with cost projection and management.
