Autoliv is seeking a Senior Manager of Purchase to lead strategic purchasing, supplier development, and cost savings for major automotive launches. This role involves managing a significant annual spend, leading a team of procurement professionals, and collaborating globally to ensure business objectives are met and product quality is maintained.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute global purchasing strategies and ensure process compliance.
  • Develop and strengthen the supplier base in India.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and annual cost-saving initiatives.
  • Drive successful launches of new projects for Seat Belts, Airbags, and Steering Wheels.
  • Manage supplier capacity planning and supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Lead change management and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) activities.
  • Ensure contribution margin targets are achieved for new projects.
  • Support localization initiatives and supplier development programs.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPP requirements and maintain accurate cost data in ICAN.
  • Conduct sourcing board meetings and support sourcing decisions.
  • Manage supplier-related quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing purchasing team.

Krav

  • 22-25+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Mandatory experience within the Automotive Industry.
  • Experience in multinational and matrix organizations preferred.
  • Strong expertise in supplier management and strategic sourcing.
  • Tooling and component cost estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of Plastics, Stamping, Metals, and Die Castings.
  • Supplier market research and technology assessment.
  • Negotiation and purchasing management skills.
  • Knowledge of supplier development and localization projects.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong decision-making and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to inspire, develop, and lead teams.
  • Customer-focused with a global business perspective.
  • Commitment to accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Tooling preferred
