The PSAD – A&D team at HCLTech is seeking a Senior Management Trainee (Proposal Management & Presales) in Bengaluru, India. This role involves supporting the end-to-end bid lifecycle and account management for aerospace and defense engineering pursuits, requiring strong engineering acumen, analytical thinking, and business writing skills.

Ansvarsområden

Support end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ response management for large aerospace and defense engineering pursuits.
Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to develop technically accurate and win-themed responses.
Build and maintain compliance matrices, ensuring traceability between RFP requirements and responses.
Support the development of commercial models and coordinate internal approval workflows.
Draft GTM decks, executive summaries, and customer-facing narratives.
Coordinate customer visits, orals, and workshops with high-quality collateral.
Maintain the reusable knowledge repository of case studies and capability decks.
Track pursuit dashboards, submission timelines, and publish status updates to leadership.
Scan the aerospace and defense ecosystem for trends and translate insights into pursuit strategy.
Ensure effective communication across cross-functional pursuit teams.
Plan and drive submission timelines and review cadences.

Krav

Strong engineering and technology acumen across mechanical, electrical, electronics, embedded, software, and digital engineering domains.
Excellent business writing skills for drafting crisp, error-free executive summaries, compliance responses, and narratives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (including formulas, pivots, and financial modeling).
Resilience, calmness under pressure, continuous learning mindset, and strong work ethic.
Collaborative, culturally aware, and enjoys working with global colleagues and customers.
Passionate about innovation, curious about emerging technologies (AI/ML, digital twin, generative design, sustainable aviation, autonomous systems), and eager to impact the aerospace and defense industry.
