Ansvarsområden
- Define and set the most efficient transport setup for all flows in the transport network, including lead times, time windows, equipment, and transport mode.
- Control and optimize the cost of the transport network.
- Ensure best-in-class utilization of full trailer/container loads.
- Adjust bought capacity based on volume fluctuations in the transport network.
- Ensure a balanced inflow of material to all sites to secure unloading/loading capacity.
- Ensure all transport networks are secured in the internal system for order creations in the transport management system.
- Lead cross-functional work to mitigate peak volumes around banking holidays towards manufacturing sites and cross docks.
- Lead and support cross-functional work to improve the end-to-end flow from supplier to production.
- Support manufacturing sites in their transformation process.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of working experience in logistics engineering, supply chain engineering, or operational optimization.
- Experienced from working in an international working environment.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain engineering and optimization.
- Hands-on experience in designing and optimizing logistic networks.
- Strong data and analytical capabilities, including working experience in Excel and PowerBI.
- Structured problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills to support cross-functional work.
- Comfortable working in complex, fast-changing environments.
- Fluent in English and Slovak (verbal and written).
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Preferable working experience within Automotive.
- Any other experience of project management or Lean, Six Sigma is an advantage.
